Sarabjit Singh

  • As a female immigrant artist, I try to weave the themes of harmony, peace, and oneness in my art. People of all cultures inhabit our cities, and I like to honor that aspect through my art. With my roots in Sikhism, I share stories of people from my community. I want everyone to be acquainted with the where, how, and when questions that everyone has in their minds when they meet people of other cultures. I'm working on a series of artworks dealing with the Sikh pioneers and their connection to their roots.

  • Helping a nonprofit fundraise through art for orphanages in Nepal has been a very satisfying voluntary service and one of many I do. Some of my recent art projects are:
    - City of Sunnyvale Sun 2024 sculpture painting
    - Rotary-sponsored Rabbit 2023 sculpture painting
    - Hearts of San Francisco 2022 sculpture painting
    - Harmony Mural 2021 painted at Black Berry Farm, Cupertino
    - Expressions of Divinity 2019 group exhibition at Triton Museum
    - Sikhlens Art and Film Festival 2019, Orange, Los Angeles
